A Chiredzi villager was anticipated in a ZUPCO bus with a dead baby’s body which he intended to use for rituals.
It is reported that 42 year old Madakuchekwa had hodden the body in a polytene bag.
The latter then boarded a ZUPCO bus with his dead corpse, the odour coming from his bag raised suspicions.
One of the passengers had to secretly ask the driver to find a safe space for them to park and search Madakuchekwa who looked suspicious.
The bus was then stopped and a concern was raised and all passengers were in agreement.
Upon stopping the bus a search was made and Madakuchekwa who was later surrender to the CID homicide was found with a body of a baby who is around 3 weeks old.
The 42 year old was then forced to confess on how he intended to use the body for money rituals.
