The Young Mariage In The 2000s

Pauline Gundidza and Rockford Josphat got married during the trailblazing Urban Grooves era. They were some of the top musicians in the genre, and because of constant interaction, they hooked up. They later married and had two children: Sky, born in 2005, and Minana, born in 2010.

However, they broke up in 2009 after Roki allegedly cheated on Pauline with another woman. Over the years, the two have managed to co-parent well with no incident.

However, after over a decade, Roki seems to want Pauline back. Recently, he posted a picture of his daughter Sky on Facebook and captioned it:

“Saka uchaitasei woramba baba vemwana, mwana wobuda akafanana na daddy vake? Saka ukatarisa mwana unenge uchingondifunga?”

Pauline Reacts As Roki Expresses He Wants Her Back

Pauline saw this and took offence at it. However, she did not address the issue there on Facebook. Recently, she spoke to H-Metro and expressed her disapproval of it.

Pauline poured her heart out:

“I was a little offended that he would still keep referring to our long-ended relationship and drawing attention to me in such a way, worse still, involving our innocent children. I chose not to respond and figured it must be a publicity attempt. Currently, I am single, and I think if someone was interested in a lifelong relationship with me, this post would plant seeds of doubt as to my final position with regard to my former marriage.

“On top of this, our marriage was never actually consummated as we never completed the marriage rite of paying rusambo to my family so it feels a bit unfair to continue to be bound to something that failed to manifest years ago. The only connection that exists between us now is our beautiful and gifted daughters whom we should rather work hard for and provide with a bright future instead of such posts that draw unnecessary attention to the kids in an era where cyberbullying has destroyed so many lives.”
