A top cop has appeared in court accused of defrauding the police force of over US$600 000 in its Zimbabwe Consolidated Fund.
Isiah Chigodora who is currently stationed at ZRP Mutoko, as the Officer
In Charge of operations and at the material time he was Officer In Charge Administration and Human Resources for ZRP Consolidated Fund, has appeared before regional magistrate Marewanazvo Gofa.
He was responsible for the safe custody
of business entities, capital floats, cash registers, cashbooks and overall custodian of all the cash in a safe deposit box at ZRP consolidated Fund, Police General Headquarters, Harare.
