Police in Bulawayo say they shot James Moyo in Queens Park following the arrest of two suspected robbers who pounced on businesses at Gunya Shopping Center in Mahatshula.
Moyo allegedly attempted to disarm a policeman seemed with a CZ pistol. Moyo is under police guard at a local hospital.
