SIX people died, while five others were injured in a road traffic accident involving a Toyota Vitz and a bus that occurred along Chivhu-Nyazura Road yesterday.In a separate crash on the same day, one person was killed, while four were injured when a Toyota Camry vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and hit a tree in Nyanga.
National police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed both accidents.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirms a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on January 28 at around 2:45pm at the 102 kilometre peg along Chivhu-Nyazura Road in which six people were killed, while five others were injured.
A Toyota Vitz vehicle with five passengers on board was involved in a head-on collision with an AVM bus with 24 passengers on board.
