Sakunda Holdings-run Arundel Private Hospital has offered to settle the outstanding bill for a Zimbabwean woman who received medical attention in South Africa’s Limpopo Province.

The woman became a topical issue after a video trended in which a South African Member of the Executive (MEC) for Health in that province, Dr Phophi Ramathuba Refused to discharge her over unpaid bills.

 

In a statement seen by Celebritynewszim, Arundel Hospital appealed to members of the public who have details about the won in question to contact the health institution. Reads the statement:

Meanwhile, the announcement has triggered varying responses with some applauding the institution while some took the opportunity to criticise the government.
