Doris Sibiya, 40, and her daughter Noxolo Khoza, 23, were allegedly stabbed to death by Doris’s boyfriend in Matsulu, Mpumalanga, on 2 April 2024.
It is alleged that Doris’s boyfriend, 40, was visiting the family. Hours later, when the son was already sleeping, he was awakened by his mother’s screams for help. When he entered the room, he witnessed the suspect stabbing his mother.
The son managed to run away and sought assistance from neighbours. When the son and neighbours returned, they discovered his mother, Doris, and sister, Noxolo, with multiple stab wounds, lying in a pool of blood. Both were declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The suspect fled the scene but was arrested six days later after police launched a search for him. We are heartbroken over the loss of such beautiful souls.
