Most wanted Zimbabwean fugitive re-arrested
Lovemore Musoyi, a 32-year-old Zimbabwean fugitive notorious for over 10 serious crimes, including murder, armed robbery, and assault, has been re-arrested after escaping custody and disarming two police officers in Motetema prison, Mpumalanga.
Police, aided by private security, captured him at a hideout in the Rakgoadi mountains on January 3, 2025.
An unlicensed firearm was seized during the arrest.
Musoyi will face additional charges in several courts within Sekhukhune District, including escaping custody, while investigations continue.
