The Ford Ranger getaway vehicle which was used in cash heist that happened at Ecobank in Bulawayo yesterday was affixed with fake number plates.
The six masked robbers stole at least US$4 million, according to ZRP police report. Possibly, these robbers stole this number plate from a Mazda Demio and planted it on a ford ranger to play tricks with the authorities.
Drivers report stolen number plates as soon as possible to avoid such problem whereby your number plate will be used in robbery cases.
