Murder suspect Ezekiel Chibvongodze appears in Court
A Marondera man, Ezekiel Chibvongodze who allegedly murdered his wife and son in cold blood and has been in remand since July was back in court yesterday.
Chibvongodze appeared in leg irons and could not stand in court after approaching the dock.
He started singing and knelt before requesting to pray.
He was removed from the dock and remanded to the 29th of October 2024 pending medical examination.
In general if a suspect is deemed to be psychologically unfit he or she should be examined by three Government doctors to prove insanity.
