Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the incident.
“Police received a sudden death report of a child following a lighting in Marlborough,” said Insp Chakanza.
“Circumstances were that on December 29, 2024, at around 1040 hours,the now deceased left home with her two young sisters aged 10 and two intending to go to church of Johane Masowe along Elizabeth Winsor Road in Marlborough.
“When they reached the shrine it started raining.
“Deceased and her two sisters then decided to go back home and the lighting struck.”
