23-year-old woman in court for sharing n#de pictures on WhatsApp. Naomi Dube (23) of Gwabalanda Suburb appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Marrygold Ndlovu on Friday facing charges of Cyber-crime.
A Bulawayo woman appeared in court last week for sending p0rn0graphic material to a WhatsApp group, Chronicle reports.
Prosecutor Ashley Dube told the court that sometime in May this year the police received a tip-off that various n#de pictures of Dube were seen on a local Hotel’s group of fans on WhatsApp. Said, Dube:
A follow up was made and it was established that Dube intentionally took the n#de pictures and sent them to a WhatsApp group. Investigations were made leading to the arrest of the accused person. When asked, Dube indicated that she took the n#de pictures. During investigations, the police established that Dube’s Itel S16 cellphone had p0rn0graphic videos and nude photos. The matter was remanded to today for sentencing.
