20-year-old woman says her father is a ‘DAD FROM HELL’ who is always demanding that mother checks if she is still a virgin.
Dion Jiri claims her father, Arnold Jiri, also claims her father usually walks into her room even when she is naked and changing her clothes.
She claimed her father has turned her life into a daily adventure of shame and misery.
She has dragged him before the Harare Civil Court.
“He calls me a prostitute and keeps asking my mother to check if I am still a virgin,” she said.
Dion said on Saturday her father bashed her.
“He stepped onto my stomach, kicked me and pushed me out of his house saying that he cannot stay with a prostitute.
‘’The other day he found me cooking when he came into the house, I was brushing my teeth and he began to accuse me of using my toothbrush to cook the food.
“Later on, when I was eating, he poured water into my food from the same bucket we use for urinating at night.”
Dion also accused her father of walking into her room whilst she is naked.
‘’He just walks into my room, even when I am naked and changing my clothes, saying that it’s his house and he can do as he pleases,” added Dion.
Arnold dismissed some of these allegations and said she was exaggerating the case.
‘’Dion dropped out of school when she was in Form 6 and ran away from home only to come back this January telling me what to do at my own house.
“I never said that she is the reason why I am suffering, she is the one who says I will suffer and when I caught her cooking with a toothbrush, I thought it was a ritual and that’s why I asked if she is a Satanist.
“
She comes back home late at night, around 1 am and when I ask her where she is coming from, she says that she is a dancer at Jah Signal’s band and she was at a rehearsal.
“Sometimes she does not even answer, she pushes me away,” he said.
