Tanzania’s President Magufuli in critical condition after testing positive to COVID-19. The broadcaster said opposition leader Tundu Lissu was told by well-placed sources that Magufuli had coronavirus and a cardiac arrest with the latter being a sudden, unexpected loss of heart function, breathing and consciousness. BBC has reported that Tanzanian president John Magufuli is in a hospital in Kenya where he is being treated for COVID-19 and is in a critical condition. BBC Africa adds that they did not verify the report.  56-year-old man strokes and dies after receiving Sinopharm vaccine. Jephter Gwandure (56), was vaccinated on 26 February 2021 but fell ill one hour after the injection and got paralysed. A health officer based at Mutema Health Clinicin Gutu died on Thursday exactly one week after he received the Chinese-developed Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine. Schools with no access to clean water won’t open

 Finance Minister: Schools with no access to clean water won’t open. Ncube was responding to Tonderayi Moyo, MP for Gokwe Chireya Constituency, who is a member of the Budget and Finance Parliamentary committee on Thursday. Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube has said schools with no access to clean water will not be allowed to open due to the continued COVID-19 threat. Moyo had asked Ncube how much money has been budgeted for personal protective equipment (PPEs) procurement for school children and staff as well as borehole drilling in schools.
